The 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting in Orlando next month will deliver cutting-edge insights and highlight the latest developments in allergy and immunology. For committees, it’s also a great time to start thinking about sessions for next year’s Annual Meeting.
Whether your committee is convening in Orlando or at other times this fall, now’s the time to start brainstorming session proposals related to your area of expertise. Proposals should echo the 2026 theme: Podium to Practice: Building Bridges for the Future.
Keeping the theme in mind, the College is especially interested in content with real-world applications. Whether the session focuses on clinical innovations, new concepts, latest guidelines or best practices, the goal is to equip attendees with tools they can put into practice.
What makes a strong proposal?
When developing session proposals, committees can use the following points to guide their discussions:
- Emphasize how clinical innovation and cutting-edge research are shaping the future of the specialty.
- Present evidence-based medicine that improves patient outcomes.
- Encourage thought-provoking discussions that challenge current mindsets.
- Focus on practical takeaways that provide attendees with tools, strategies and frameworks.
