The following are some of the key actions taken by the ACAAI Executive Committee at the most recent meeting.
- Nominated Dr. Bruce Lanser as an additional nominee for consideration to serve a 6-year term on the ACGME Review Committee for Allergy and Immunology beginning July 2025.
- Confirmed the College’s continued participation in the Program Director Assembly’s 2025 and 2026 Joint AAAAI/ACAAI Winter Meetings.
- Honored Dr. Luz Fonacier with the 2024 Gold Headed Cane Award at the 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting.
- Ratified the College’s endorsement of the Food Allergy Management in Schools Expert Recommendations.
- Appointed Dr. Purvi Parikh to serve as the College’s Alternate Delegate to the American Medical Association’s House of Delegates effective immediately.
- Approved adding the proposed incoming Track Chairs and Nurse Liaison to the 2025 Annual Meeting Program Committee to replace those individuals whose terms will soon expire.
