Join the HOD’s allergy advocacy network

The College’s House of Delegates is ready to amplify allergists’ voices – are you ready to join us? We have multiple openings for you to join the National Allergy Advocacy Network – step up now!

State Delegate

The success of our HOD depends on having adequate representation across the country. We’re looking for a few more active College members to serve as local advocates, supporting the work of the HOD and creating a national network of advocating allergists. Read the state delegate job description for more information. We are recruiting state delegates from: Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Washington, and Wyoming.

We hope you will apply to serve as one of our College-appointed state delegates.

Southeast Region Super-Delegate

The College is looking for a super-delegate for the Southeast Region (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee). The Southeast Region is one of the HOD’s six regions throughout the United States. Learn more about this exciting position.

Super-delegates work with College, Advocacy Council, HOD leaders and state delegates, collecting and disseminating information related to the practice of allergy. They monitor regional and state legislation, establish and maintain contact with legislators, physicians and regional societies, and collect and communicate advocacy news to College leaders. Any College Fellow can apply.

Serving as a super-delegate or state delegate is an opportunity to represent the College, the HOD and your colleagues. These representatives share legislative intel between local, state and regional societies and College leadership.

The College is a leading advocate for allergists, and you can be one too! Representation at the local/state/regional level will help the HOD effect change by addressing legislative and policy issues before they can adversely affect our specialty.

We hope you’ll join us in this effort. Super-delegate and State Delegate applications will be accepted until Feb. 28. Apply now to represent your community, your colleagues and the allergy specialty.
