2023 Food Allergy Awareness Week

It’s Food Allergy Awareness Week! Most College members see patients with this potentially life-threatening condition. From toolkits to webinars, use the College’s member resources to enhance your food allergy knowledge.

Tools and Information
Peanut OIT Toolkit – prepare your practice for peanut OIT, have a shared decision-making discussion with patients, and bill for it correctly.

View sessions on demand from the 2022 International Food Allergy Symposium held at last year’s ACAAI Annual Scientific Meeting. If you attended the ACAAI 2022 Annual Meeting – in Louisville or via Livestream – you can access On Demand sessions at no charge.

Parents can use the peanut OIT shared decision-making tool to talk with you to decide if peanut OIT treatment might be a good option for their child.

Practice Parameter on Food Allergy – access the Peanut Allergy Diagnostics GRADE Guideline and the 2020 Management of EoE GRADE Guideline.

Try our MicroCME. We’ve just added eight new modules focused on food allergy! MicroCME modules provide CME that you can complete in about 30 minutes. Some of the new modules include:

Implementing Peanut Allergy in Your Practice – learn key considerations before offering peanut OIT.

State of the Art Food Immunotherapy – experts evaluate merging therapies including OIT, EPIT and SLIT and biologics.

Moving Toward Equity: Disparities in Food Allergy – our experts address equitable allergy and asthma care for all patients and practitioners, in all communities – particularly communities of color.
