Help with Boards prep

Summer is here! Fellows-in-Training, are you studying for the Board exam? There is no “one size fits all” study option for everyone, and the College has a variety of helpful study resources.

Prepare for the exam with the College’s new 4th Edition of the ACAAI Review for the Allergy & Immunology Boards book. This prep tool is 550 pages, with hundreds of images and tables, key facts and more than 600 e-flashcards.

The College’s Board Review Corner features new questions and answers that are published each month for FITs from current textbook content. There are more than 400 questions available from selected allergy and immunology textbooks. FITs can take the monthly quizzes online or download the pdf versions.

The AIM Self-Assessment program consists of 108 case-based, multiple-choice questions. Comprehensive discussion provides evidence-based explanations for all answer options as well as supporting references from current literature.

These resources are just a few found in our College Learning Connection. Find webinars, microlearning modules and interactive tools on clinical topics. Many are free for members!

As Chair of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, I am pleased to inform you that ABAI is working on a new blueprint for 2022 to make the certification exam more relevant, current, useful and diverse. As ACAAI president, I assure you that we see FITs as the future of our specialty, and the College is committed to providing tools and resources you need to launch your careers and continue your self-learning for maintenance of certification.
