Choose from the following 90-minute workshops:
- Patch Testing 101: Basics of Patch Testing – Learn about which patients to patch test, the basics of applying a patch test, contraindications and precautions in patch testing and the effective interpretation of results. (Friday, Nov. 7, 1:00- 2:30 pm). A separate patch testing workshop for FITs is geared for those with more limited patch testing knowledge and covers similar basics (Friday, Nov. 7, 8:00-9:30 am).
- End Game: Calling All Patch Test Experts – For those with more patch testing experience, learn about expanded patch testing for children, regional dermatitis of the hand, eyelid and lip, and for occupational conditions (Saturday, Nov. 8, 10:00-11:30 am).
- SQ Immunoglobulin Infusion – Get instruction on methods of subcutaneous (SC) administration of immunoglobulins, including facilitated SC infusion, and solutions to common issues for patients receiving infusions. (Saturday, Nov. 8, 3:00-4:30 pm).
- Performing a Rhinolaryngologic Exam – Learn about the use of the fiberoptic rhinolaryngologic exam of the upper airway, become familiar with a rhinoscope and perform an exam on a manikin or live “patient.” (Sunday, Nov. 9, 3:00 – 4:30 pm).
