A secure forum to have A/I clinical discussions

The College has a place for you to safely and securely ask questions and thoroughly discuss allergy-related topics. It’s called DocMatter, and it’s online and available 24/7.

DocMatter is the College’s virtual community for our dues paying physician members, retired members and Fellows-in-Training (FITS), and is a forum for high-quality, clinical and practice management discussions. It is limited exclusively to College members and more than 3,800 of our physician members are engaged on this platform.

Members frequently use DocMatter to facilitate discussions on a wide variety of topics. Not surprisingly, COVID-19 has emerged as topic of discussion, especially questions about the vaccines. Questions on vaccines are answered in large part by members of our COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force. Other recent discussions centered on skin testing, pregnancy and HAE, itching, use of biologics during the pandemic, and more.

Members can feel confident posting clinical questions and topics and replying to DocMatter posts. All posts are monitored, providing protection against liability for us as individuals and for the College as an organization.

Organizations like the College thrive when our members feel connected. Besides discussing clinical issues, DocMatter is also a unique platform for members to network. I encourage you to pose a question or contribute to a discussion. You can also learn a great deal simply by following the conversations taking place.

Every College physician member has an active DocMatter account, with a unique username and password. If you have questions or need assistance, please email our DocMatter representatives at support@docmatter.com.
