The College recently updated its Food Allergy Diagnosis and Management slides and speaker guide. These materials can be very useful for presentations to other medical professionals to keep them informed and up to date on food allergy diagnosis and management. The updates are based on the recently published Yardstick on this topic.
Information in the slides and speaker guide can be used to help:
- Identify patients who should be evaluated for food allergy
- Select appropriate tests to diagnose food allergy
- Formulate a food allergy management plan including avoidance strategies and an emergency action plan
- Discuss potential treatments for food allergy
