ACAAI offers membership options for physicians and allied health professionals of all experience levels. Take advantage of all the College has to offer: education, practice management support, key billing and coding resources, patient education and marketing resources, networking opportunities and more.

Membership Types

Member

For physicians who meet ABAI requirements or who have completed two years of training programs accredited by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Fellow

For physicians certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI) or by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and who devote at least 75 percent of their professional activity to the practice of allergy/immunology or have taught in a recognized medical school or affiliated hospital for at least two years.

Scientific Fellow

For scientists of high moral, ethical and professional standing who have made meritorious contributions to the field of allergy/immunology.

Allied Health Professional

For registered nurses, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, certified physician assistants or other nonphysicians engaged in a technical or administrative position (i.e., office administrators, billing professionals) in allergy/immunology.

Fellow-in-Training

For physicians enrolled in an ACGME-accredited allergy/immunology training program.

Resident or Medical Students

For medical students, or internal medicine or pediatrics residents, in an accredited program in the United States or Canada.

International Affiliate Member

For practicing clinicians living outside of the U.S. or Canada who have graduated from medical school and completed training in allergy/immunology.

Emeritus Member and Fellow

For a Fellow or Member who is at least 70 years old and has been in good standing with the College for 15 years or longer.

Retired Member & Fellow

For a Fellow or Member in good standing with the College who has retired completely and is no longer paid to practice medicine.

Honorary Fellow

For a physician or scientist who has made an exceptional contribution to the specialty.
