Meaningful Use attestation deadline
The registration and attestation portal for the 2016 EHR Incentive Program (Meaningful Use) is now open, and the deadline to attest is February 28. Eligible Professionals must attest to 2016 program requirements in order to avoid a 2018 payment adjustment. The reporting period is any continuous 90 days between January 1 and December 31, 2016. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) also provided a new attestation worksheet to use as a reference; it includes all program requirements and potential exclusions for each measure. For more information, view the College Meaningful Use Toolkit.
