The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has notified providers that all reimbursement claims for administering the COVID vaccine, testing and treatment to uninsured individuals need to be submitted by midnight, April 5, via the COVID-19 CAF portal. The submission deadline must be met because the COVID-19 Coverage Assistance Fund, which reimburses these expenses, is running out of funds.
HRSA noted that those claims submitted by the deadline will be paid based on their eligibility and availability of funds. Claims submitted after the April 5 deadline will not be resolved.
