The ACAAI public and member websites house a great deal of valuable information. Here are some highlights of both sites for you and your patients.
Public resources on acaai.org
- Videos – Our series “Allergists Answering Questions” has more than 50 videos of allergists answering common questions patients have related to asthma, inflammation, eczema, telehealth, food allergies, hives, and more.
- The most visited page on the College’s public website nearly every month is our Hives page. Symptoms, triggers, management and treatment are covered, as well as the differences between hives and angioedema. Chronic hives and physical urticaria also are described.
- Type 2 Inflammation is found in the Health Care Providers area. This microsite not only provides the spectrum of conditions and diagnosis and treatment information, but also a slide deck, podcast, patient resources and videos, the Practice Parameter for clinical management of EoE, and more.
- Home Allergy Management offers information you can share with your patients on how to handle allergens in each area of the home, as well as common allergen facts.
- Allergist Answers, the e-newsletter for patients, is now available on the public site. It provides solid, expert information about allergies, asthma, vaccines and how patients can help minimize their allergen exposure.
