Helping the people of Ukraine

Helping the people of Ukraine

The leaders of the College understand that our members are eager to find ways to help and support the people of Ukraine who are suffering as a result of the invasion of their country.

There are numerous established and well-known charities that are committed to helping Ukrainians affected by this tragedy. At this time, the ability to reach people still living in Ukraine with direct aid is limited due to closures of roads and ports as well as dangerous conditions. However, these organizations are doing what they can, and some are able to assist with teams on the ground and supplies already in place. Many others are assisting Ukrainian refugees in Poland and neighboring countries. It is hoped that logistics in and around Ukraine will improve in the near future.

We offer the latest World Health Organization situation report, which explains what is being done in country, including with public health priorities and medical aid.

To assist those who may wish to donate to a charity that is working to aid endangered or dislocated Ukrainian people, we offer the following list. These organizations have been vetted by a few sources, including NBC/Today Show, CBS News, and the American Society of Association Executives. Charity Navigator, an organization that evaluates hundreds of thousands of charitable organizations, has a page dedicated to the crisis in Ukraine.
