The College and Advocacy Council are aware of our membership’s concerns regarding the increased costs for ALL allergen extracts (used for testing and treatment) and we need your help to respond to these concerns.
CMS allows providers to submit copies of actual invoices every year for the purposes of reviewing and updating practice expenses. We did this several years ago and were successful in receiving increases to venom IT codes.
In order to effect change, we need to collect your 2024 allergen extract invoices demonstrating the actual cost of extracts (not catalogue prices) – to submit to CMS. In addition to the invoices, please include the answers to the following questions:
- The number of allergist/immunologists in your practice: ___________
- The number of other MDs/Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in your practice: _______
