Four things to know about the member website

As a College member, you have access to a wealth of resources on the College’s member website. Here are four important features that all members should know about.

Toolkits
In the Practice Management area of the member website, you will find 20+ toolkits filled with resources and information to help allergy practices with clinical, business and coding/collection decisions. If you need info on a given topic, you will likely find it in one of our toolkits! Whether it’s coding, marketing, operational efficiency, allergen extract mixing, biologics, prior authorizations, clinical best practices or patient satisfaction, we have resources to help. We even have a toolkit geared specifically for FITs and new allergists! If you’re not sure where to start, take our brief Practice Assessment Quiz, which assesses your practice strategies and policies in key practice management areas and recommends the College resources and toolkits that will help you the most.

Patient/public brochures for printing
The College has begun to redesign its brochure collection into web-based, printable handouts to share with your patients. Currently there are four English brochures and one Spanish brochure available:
• Find Relief for Your Child’s Asthma (En Espanol: Encuentre Alivio Para el Asma de su Hijo)
• Food Allergies
• Eczema
• Rhinitis

Check back for more topics as they become available.

Committee Directory
Curious about who currently serves on the College’s committees? Check out the Committee Directory! Here you will find each committee’s charge and a listing of all the members, including the chair and staff liaison. If you serve on any of these committees, you will also be able to access the committee’s site in Basecamp, where you can view its discussions and shared documents.

Career Center
The ACAAI Career Center can help you find your next career opportunity. Upload your resume, search jobs, learn more about personal branding, interviewing and networking. See featured jobs currently available. Take advantage of guidance from an experienced certified career coach. Have someone review your resume for free. Create an alert for jobs that fit your criteria. Sign up for helpful newsletters.

Need to fill a job? Register as an employer, post your available jobs, review resumes. Get assistance from the customer support team who can also give you ideas on how to best capture a candidate’s attention.

Make the College’s member website the first place you look for the information you need. It’s also your go-to source for ACAAI Annual Meeting information – watch for information about abstract submissions and registration in the coming months. The College Learning Connection (CLC) can also be accessed from the member website. We will bring you more features of the website in a future article.
