Marissa Love, MD, FACAAI, co-chair of the FIT and New Allergist Committee, and Kylie N. Jungles, MD, a past ACAAI Senior FIT Representative, are moderators of this session. Early-career allergists increasingly face federal, state, and local policy decisions that directly impact access to diagnostics, medications, immunotherapy, and patient education. This session provides a practical roadmap for allergists seeking to influence healthcare policy at multiple levels. Speakers will explore national policy trends affecting allergy practice, approaches to monitoring and shaping local health policy, strategies for collaborating with patient advocacy groups, and best practices for using social media to share accurate allergy information and counter misinformation.
