Economy, Vaccines, Testing and Treatment

  • Vaccination rates have significantly increased in the last few days.

    • Some experts think we could reach a peak in Delta cases as early as this month.
    • The National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director Dr. Anthony Fauci warned about the possible emergence of new variants.
  • The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) could give full approval to Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine by early November. All COVID-19 vaccines are currently approved under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). Some public health experts believe full approval will lead to increase vaccination rates.
