College resources help your practice soar

Where can you find practical, easy-to-follow tools to help run your practice? The College has the answer: the Practice Management Center (PMC). Check out the PMC’s resources – all free to members – and share them with your team to help solve today’s challenges and elevate your allergy practice to the next level.

Find current information, resources, “how to’s,” related tools and more with the College’s toolkits! Toolkit topics span many aspects of running an allergy practice. New and updated toolkits include:

  • Coding Toolkit – Updated and expanded to include 2021 E&M coding changes and new ICD-10 codes. Our coding resources, including our recorded webinars, educational modules and FAQs, are the gold standard for allergists/immunologists.
  • New! FIT and New Allergist Toolkit – Just getting started in your allergy career? Find job search strategies, contract negotiation resources, clinical tools and more.
  • Practice Profitability – Recently revamped! Get the latest efficiency and revenue-generating tips from the Practice Management Committee, along with info on financial benchmarking and 2021 allergist compensation data.
  • Marketing and Patient Materials – Full of updated resources to grow your practice, including a social media kit, practice website tips, patient education, recommendations for community outreach and more.
  • Human Resources Toolkit – Newly updated to include resources to help with current staffing issues.
  • Risk and Compliance Toolkit – Get the latest info on the No Surprises Act, the information blocking rule and how to protect your practice against cyberattacks.
  • Telehealth Toolkit – Learn how to optimize your existing telemedicine program and get info about laws, reimbursement, licensing, efficacy and more.

In the PMC, you’ll also find:

  • Allergy Practice Assessment Quiz. This 10-minute quiz evaluates your practice across 14 key areas (coding, extract mixing, profitability, etc.). It creates an individualized action plan for each practice by recommending specific College resources to help.
  • Contract negotiation options from Resolve. The College has partnered with Resolve, a national firm specializing in physician contract review services. College members receive discounts on Resolve’s services.
  • Shared decision-making tools (SDMs). Use our SDMs to work with your patients to find the best-fitting treatments. The PMC recently released a new SDM tool: Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyps. Another new SDM tool is Peanut OIT, available on the College’s public website.
