College clinical resources for allergy practices

All allergists need accessible clinical allergy/immunology resources you can rely on. Whether you’re an employed allergist in a large health care system, a solo allergist, an academic allergist or an allergist in private practice, the College has you covered with our clinical toolkits. Find them – for free – on the College member website. They have been designed specifically for practicing allergists. Check out five of our most useful clinical toolkit topics:

  1. Practice Parameter and Yardstick Toolkit – Find practice parameter and yardstick resources, which provide evidence-based recommendations to help you with day-to-day clinical management decisions. Includes our interactive eYardsticks and eParameters!
  2. Shared Decision-Making toolkits – Access resources for shared decision-making with your patients for specific allergy/immunology diseases. Each toolkit has an interactive patient tool that outlines available treatment options and the risks, benefits and relative costs of each.
  3. Biologics Toolkit – Get HCPCS/CPT codes; our popular biologics cheat sheet; and biologics MicroCME educational modules. The toolkit also includes links to our evidence-based, customizable prior authorization appeal letter generators.
  4. Office-based Anaphylaxis Toolkit – Get interactive training, best practices and customizable resources to create an anaphylaxis plan for your office.
  5. Penicillin Allergy Toolkit – Find everything you need to conduct penicillin allergy testing and communicate with patients, payers and PCPs about its importance.
