The ACAAI Advocacy Council visited Rep. Morgan Griffith (R-VA), BA, JD; Rep. Robert Onder (R-MO), MD, JD; FDA Commissioner Marty Makary, MD, MPH; and Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA), BS, MSc. They were accompanied by Shamie Das, MD, MBA, MPH, an emergency medicine doctor at Emory University; and Kevin Reilly, MD, MS, a radiologist at Fort Gordon, GA, both of whom were representing the Medical Association of Georgia. The ACAAI Advocacy Council was represented by Executive Director of Advocacy and Government J. Allen Meadows, MD; ACAAI House of Delegates Vice Speaker Vivek Rao, MD; and ACAAI Treasurer, Melinda Rathkopf, MD, MBA. They were joined by the Advocacy Council’s legislative government relations consultants Matt Reiter and Luke Schwartz.
