The College is pleased to announce the latest update of Asthma Management and the Allergist: Better Outcomes at Lower Cost. This College publication, also known as the Blue Book, serves as a free resource to demonstrate the benefits of having a trained allergist care for asthma patients. It highlights the body of clinical data and economic research that indicates significant differences in both treatment outcomes and costs in asthma care managed by generalists versus trained allergists.
While its original intent was to help educate third party payers, the handbook is valuable for allergists and other medical professionals as well. It is updated regularly to provide the most recent evidence on the important role of allergists in asthma management.
