Every month we give a shout out – a high five – to a great member resource on the College website. This month, we want to spotlight our Marketing and Patient Outreach Toolkit. If you’ve thought about promoting your practice to allergy and asthma sufferers in your community, here’s an excellent place to start.
Want to reach out to media in your area? We’ve got you covered. The news release templates cover a wide variety of topics and include tips for allergy and asthma sufferers on how to keep symptoms under control. All you do is fill in your name and practice information and send to your local media. They might contact you for more information, or run your release as is. Either way, you get a mention. These templates are also great to use as articles in your patient newsletter and on your website.
Looking for patient handouts? We have fact sheets you can personalize and print out in color or black and white to give to patients. Topics range from allergy tablets and allergy testing to immunotherapy and asthma diagnosis and treatment and much more. Check them out!
Ever thought about conducting an asthma screening? We have the information and materials you need. Free asthma screenings are a public service you can offer to your community. In its 20th year, the Nationwide Asthma Screening Program is the College’s largest public service campaign. Through it we identify adults and kids at risk for undiagnosed and uncontrolled asthma.
You will also find a penicillin toolkit, patient education brochures and links to webinars on social media strategies for allergists. Don’t miss out on these great materials to help boost your practice!
