The College has an exciting opportunity for young allergists (active members, 45 years or younger or in practice for 10 years or less)! Apply to participate in the upcoming Leadership Summit, Generation Next – a unique program designed to help improve skills as effective leaders. The event will take place virtually on Saturday, March 20, 2021.
During this one-day virtual event, participants will gain valuable skills that can be immediately put into practice and help develop a plan for their future leadership development. Sessions will cover topics such as communicating effectively, preventing and dissolving conflict, advocating for change, improving coaching skills, discovering different behavior styles and much more.
Successful completion of this program satisfies the ABAI MOC Part 4: Quality Improvement requirement: Alternative Module: Service for Self-Improvement.
If you are interested in applying for the Summit, download the application and submit it by Feb. 5. If you know of an aspiring young leader in your practice who would benefit from attending the event, be sure to share this information with them.
The College Member Relations Committee will review all applications and notify the 20 members who have been accepted to attend the course by Feb. 26. There is no fee for the course or materials. Please email College staff for more information. The Leadership Summit is supported by AstraZeneca.
