Stephen A Imbeau, MD, FACAAI, was recently awarded the South Carolina Medical Association (SCMA) Physician of the Year Award. The award was presented at the SCMA Annual Meeting in Myrtle Beach, SC. Dr. Imbeau was recognized for his unparalleled service to the practice of medicine.
Dr. Imbeau is a board-certified internist and allergist in private practice in Florence, SC. He was the recipient of the ACAAI Distinguished Fellow Award in 2021. He also worked for many years with the American Medical Association, serving as chair of the AMA’s Southeastern Delegation from 2013-2015 and as its newsletter editor.
