We’re already thinking ahead to 2025, and that includes budgeting for committee projects. There are many things to consider when putting together a budget request for a project.
Q. What type of committee projects does the College support?
The College funded many online toolkits as well as a variety of other projects. Most recently, these included an online drug allergy protocol library, a webinar series, a self-assessment module, and food allergy severity tool.
Q. Is there a limit on how much funding a committee can request?
There is no specific limit, but the funding requested should be realistic, within the scope of the project and adequately justified.
Q. What are the key components of a successful project proposal?
A successful proposal will clearly describe why the project is needed and how it would benefit the College’s membership. Remember, if it’s something that is important to you and needed in your practice, it will very likely be important to other members! Just be sure to provide a good rationale and a reasonable budget.
