The Joint Task Force on Practice Parameters (JTFPP) – a joint group of College and Academy representatives – has completed an updated parameter on anaphylaxis. This practice parameter is not a comprehensive review of anaphylaxis but focuses on seven areas in which new evidence has emerged and in which recommendations may now be different from previous practice parameters. Those areas include Diagnosis; Infants and Toddlers; Community Settings; Epinephrine Autoinjectors; Beta-blockers and ACE Inhibitors; Mast Cell Disorders; and Peri-operative Anaphylaxis.
This is your opportunity to review and let the JTFPP know your thoughts/comments. Submit your comment form (View | Download) by Monday, May 1 to comments@acaai.org. (Only comments submitted on this form will be accepted.)
If you have questions, contact ACAAI’s JTFPP Liaison.
