The Joint Task Force on Technology and Telemedicine has been developing a series of short videos to help allergists incorporate telemedicine into their practice. With many of you using telemedicine for the first time during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are focusing on topics that will be useful to you right now.

Our fourth video, “How to Bill and Code for a Telemedicine Visit During the COVID-19 Pandemic,” describes how to appropriately code for telemedicine visits, including telephone only visits and brief check-ins. It is presented by Dr. Sakina Bajowala, a member of the Task Force.

Our fifth video, “Telemedicine Lessons Learned During the COVID-19 Pandemic,” gives an overview of one allergist’s journey implementing telemedicine visits during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hear about what went right, what went wrong, and what changes he’s making moving forward. It is presented by Dr. Justin Greiwe, also a member of the Task Force.
