An MOC review just for you

September 24, 2018

While you’re making final plans and setting your schedule for the Annual Scientific Meeting, Nov. 15-19 in Seattle, be sure to stay through Monday to attend our all-new Continuous Assessment Program (CAP) Review from 9:45 am – 12:30 pm.

Here at the College, we know that MOC isn’t the easiest, and we are here to help you. That’s why we’re bringing you a fantastic CAP review to help you maintain your American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI) certification. During the session, attendees will receive a comprehensive review of the journal articles for the current six-month cycle of MOC CAP. The meeting will wrap up around lunch, making sure you’ve got more than enough time to fly home and get into the office on Tuesday.

“Our new CAP Review session is specifically designed to help College members meet their MOC requirements regarding the new ABAI question format,” said David Stukus, MD, FACAAI, Annual Meeting Program Committee vice chair and moderator of the review. “This session will review the articles chosen by the ABAI and offer a timely discussion to help members meet their six-month requirements before the deadline in December. Similar to the popular Friday Annual Literature Review, attendees at this session will hear experts in our field break down each article in a way that makes them not only easier to understand, but will discuss how they can be implemented into your clinical practice as well.”

You won’t regret taking an extra day off to gain this valuable information! And, this session is great for any Fellows-in-Training to add to their meeting agenda as well.

You’ll leave knowing how to identify key concepts from recently published research pertaining to allergic conditions, as well as how to utilize the ABAI continuous assessment program in your maintenance of certification process. Speakers during the session include Lisa Kobrynski, MD, MPH, FACAAI, Anthony Montanaro, MD, FACAAI, Anne Ellis, MD, MSc, FACAAI, Princess Ogbogu, MD and Brian Kelly, MD, MA.

Register now for the Annual Meeting and make time to stay an extra day at the best educational event of the year.
