We’re excited to announce a unique opportunity – the Spark program – for first-year internal medicine or pediatric residents, and first- or second-year med-peds residents. The Spark program was created to help “spark” an interest in residents who might be considering a career in allergy and immunology. The College is providing $1,500 to help cover expenses for residents to spend three days at the 2017 ACAAI Annual Scientific Meeting in Boston, taking place Oct. 26-30.
Recipients of the award will participate in a special Fellows-in-Training (FIT) symposium, as well as have a FIT mentor. There will also be time for residents to attend a wide variety of sessions covering all aspects of allergy/immunology. There is funding to allow 15 residents (internal medicine, pediatric, or med-peds) from across the country to attend.
If you are interested in applying for this unique opportunity, please download the application and submit it no later than May 15 to Mary Campbell at firstname.lastname@example.org. Awardees will be notified by June 15.
