The College recommends anyone who prepares extracts to take the Allergenic Extract Preparation Quiz and media fill test annually. The current version complies with the current USP guidelines, so if you haven’t taken it recently, it may be time to take it again. This fall, the College will update the quiz to meet the new standards.

Allergen Extract Mixer Training Program
An unprecedented session, offering a half day of didactic presentations on fulfilling the expectations of the revised USP797, followed by a half day hands-on workshop, where attendees will be properly outfitted, participate in area sterilization techniques, perform individualized media fill and glove tip testing. The session will conclude with a brief exam and certificates of completion will be awarded to those who successfully pass. Participation in this full-day course is limited – be sure to register early.
